The City of Southfield in collaboration in with May Peace Prevail on Earth International & The Dr. martin Luther King, Jr. TaskForce invites you to the International Day of Peace Celebration.
May Peace Prevail on Earth InternationalTM is a global not-for-profit charity that develops and
promotes peace activities for communities and youth. The foundation’s primary mission is to plant
Peace Monuments around the world. Our organization is a member of the United Nations Economic
and Social Council.
In 2020, Southfield constructed Peace Pole Monuments and became the first city in the USA to
participate in our Amig@s de la Paz Sustainability Award Program. This program recognizes
communities, businesses, educational institutions, and individuals supporting the UN’s Goals for
Sustainable Development.
